Crystal Palace are set to make the trip to Old Trafford this Saturday, February 4th, for a Premier League meeting with Manchester United.

The Eagles will head into the clash eyeing what would prove a surprise three-point haul, albeit fresh off a pair of solid results over the course of the last two weeks.

Patrick Vieira’s troops are actually winless across their last five fixtures, but followed up a morale-boosting stalemate with upcoming opponents Man United with another point secured against high-flying Newcastle United last time out.

Palace, in turn, sit 12th in the English top-flight table.

In their quest to deal a 2nd blow in quick succession to the season goals of upcoming hosts United, though, just who will be at the disposal of boss Patrick Vieira?

And, more importantly, who will not?

Predicted Crystal Palace line-up vs Manchester United

Team news

Wilfried Zaha

Status: Unavailable

The headline talking point at Selhurst Park across the week to date has of course come in the form of the impending absence of talisman Wilfried Zaha.

Owing to a hamstring injury suffered at the weekend, the Ivorian faces an extended spell on the sidelines, and will play no part this weekend.

James McArthur

Status: Unavailable

Midfielder James McArthur remains a long-term absentee from the Crystal Palace setup, due to a groin issue.

Nathan Ferguson

Status: Unavailable

Another long-time scratch from Patrick Vieira’s squad, Nathan Ferguson is closing on a return to the matchday fold, but Saturday’s trip to Old Trafford will come too soon.

Joachim Andersen

Status: Being assessed

Stopper Andersen has been forced to sit out Palace’s last two outings after suffering a calf injury against Chelsea last month.

His status for the weekend is currently unclear, but those of an Eagles persuasion may be well served not getting their hopes up regarding an immediate return to the XI against United.
