Former Manchester United star David de Gea is giving consideration to retirement from the game, according to reports on Friday.
The subject of shot-stopper De Gea’s future, of course, has long proven a central talking point across the media.
This comes with the Spanish international, once considered one of world football’s best in his position, now struggling to find a club.
Since being released by the aforementioned Man United back in June, De Gea, originally expected to be swiftly snapped up, has not received a single offer that he deems to be suitable.
And, as alluded to above, if the latest word in the press this evening is anything to go by, such struggles, incredibly, could yet see the 32-year-old hang up his gloves.

As per a report from The Guardian:
A number of contract proposals are understood to have been put to the one-time Atletico Madrid talent by way of the Saudi Pro League.
Of the opinion that he still boasts the required talent to feature for a top European outfit, though, De Gea has stood firm in knocking back the riches on offer in the Middle East.
Could we yet have seen the experienced shot-stopper take to the pitch in a competitive setting for the final time?
