Our recommended bet for Tuesday’s clash at the Stadion Maksimir comes in the form of an AC Milan victory over Dinamo Zagreb, featuring a goal from Rafael Leao.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £45 with Bet365.

Match preview

It’s 3rd vs 4th in Champions League Group E on Tuesday, October 25th, as two sides desperate for three points prepare to do battle at the Stadion Maksimir.

This comes with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb ready to play host to Serie A champions AC Milan.

Let’s first take a look at the recent efforts of the former.

Dinamo actually opened the club’s European endeavours for the season with one of the shocks of the round in the Champions League, courtesy of a 1-0 downing of Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

This slide was arrested last time out in a home meeting with Salzburg, but the capital giants’ hopes of clinching an unlikely spot in the competition’s knockout rounds nevertheless hang by a thread.

Should Ante Cacic’s men ultimately slip to a third defeat of the campaign on Tuesday night, then they will, in turn, see the club’s Champions League campaign brought to an official end.

The upcoming visitors to Croatia’s capital, though, have not exactly set the continent alight themselves thus far in 2022/23.

Milan have too managed to rack up four points to date, courtesy of a single win and draw.

But back-to-back defeats at the hands of Chelsea mean that the Rossoneri’s position in the competition looks an altogether more precarious one than it did early last month.

A stretch of four successive Serie A wins, including a 4-1 drubbing of Monza this past weekend, though, should see Stefano Pioli’s confident of getting the job done on Tuesday night.

This comes with Milan having also made relatively short work of Dinamo at the San Siro in September, owing to strikes on the part of all of Olivier Giroud, Alexis Saelemaekers, and Tommaso Pobega.

We at 101 are therefore backing the Italian champions to ultimately emerge on the right side of the final scoreline at the Stadion Maksimir.

Such a result, coupled with a Chelsea win over RB Salzburg, would see Milan climb back into 2nd in Group E, in prime position to advance to the Champions League’s final-16 as runners-up.
