The social media pile-on facing faltering Chelsea has been added to by way of an altogether bizarre source on Sunday evening.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea, of course, were back in action earlier this afternoon.
Amid a run of just one win from five to open the Premier League campaign, the Blues welcomed Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge, desperate for a bounce-back result.
When all was said and done in west London, however, once more, Pochettino and co. failed to step up to the plate in any way, shape or form.
Instead, a solitary strike on the part of Ollie Watkins proved enough to guide visitors Villa to the right side of an eventual 1-0 scoreline.
Some finish by Watkins 🤩

The result, altogether unsurprisingly, has since given rise to quite the backlash across social media, as neutrals and rival fans are joined by the Chelsea faithful themselves in taking aim at Pochettino’s woefully under-performing outfit.
This comes with none other than Domino’s Pizza having now taken firm aim at Chelsea.
Taking to the comments section of the capital giants’ Twitter post regarding Watkins’ eventual winner on Sunday, the famed food establishment replied with:
‘We’ve delivered about 852,609 pizzas since Chelsea last scored a goal.’
