An early update on the wellbeing of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has surfaced, late on Sunday evening.
For those who may have missed it, Brazilian international Neymar set pulses racing across the PSG fanbase earlier this afternoon.
This came upon the gifted wide-man being forced into a premature departure from the club’s pulsating Ligue 1 meeting with LOSC Lille.
En route to a Lionel Messi inspired 4-3 win, Neymar was stretchered off early in the 2nd-half at the Parc des Princes, owing to what at the time appeared to be an ankle injury.

The immediate concern, of course, was that the 31-year-old had seen his status for PSG’s upcoming Champions League 2nd-leg showdown with Bayern Munich thrown into doubt.
And now, as alluded to above, an insight into Neymar’s post-match wellbeing has come to the fore online.
‘Victim of a sprained ankle during the match against Lille, Neymar underwent an MRI today. This does not reveal a fracture. A new ligament assessment will be carried out in 48 hours.’
Ensuing reports in the French media, in turn, suggest that the former Barcelona man could yet return to the fray in time to face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on March 8th.
Neymar’s (31) entourage is hopeful that the Brazilian will be fit for PSG’s Champions League tie against Bayern Munich – the details. (L’Éq)https://t.co/rFOaSvSF0S
