Rasmus Hojlund joined Manchester United over the summer but is yet to debut.
The Dane joined the Red Devils with a back problem, which has kept him out of action so far this season.
This has led to Manchester United being forced to play Marcus Rashford up top and it is fair to say United have looked far from their best going forward.
Now, Erik ten Hag has hinted Hojlund could be back fit in time for next week:
“Not for tomorrow,” confirmed the United boss.
“[He’s] near. Today, for the first time, he came into team training so next week we expect him to do a full week of team training so he is near to the squad.”
“If you see the numbers, you see he’s fully fit,” he said of the Brazilian.
“I have no doubts they can do it. After 35 minutes against Spurs he didn’t do it anymore and we were first across the board for fitness.”
