Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag, this evening, etched his name into the fabled history books of the club.
The Red Devils marked their return to action a short time ago.
Fresh off a pair of alarming defeats to open the season, Ten Hag and co. were faced with a daunting task, in the form of a Premier League showdown with arch rivals Liverpool.
When all was said and done at the Theatre of Dreams, though, United got things back on track in altogether spectacular fashion.
This came as a superb display gave rise to strikes on the part of both Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, enough to guide the evening’s hosts to the right side of a 2-1 final scoreline.

And, as alluded to above, in the process of guiding his side to their first three-point haul of the campaign, Erik ten Hag has secured for himself a piece of Manchester United history.
