The winners from each Europa League group did not have to compete in the Round of 32, but are back in the draw on Friday – this includes Arsenal.
Elsewhere, a number of major ties played out in the RO32, such as Manchester United coming from behind to knock one of the favourites, FC Barcelona, out of the competition.
The first legs of the Round of 16 are scheduled for 9 March, with the second legs a week later on 16 March. The winners of the eight ties will advance to the quarter-finals, with the draw for that round and the semi-finals scheduled for 17 March.
Now, on Friday afternoon, Manchester United and Arsenal have learned who they must face in the RO16.
Manchester United have been handed a fairly kind draw vs Real Betis.
Arsenal, meanwhile, face off with Portuguese outfit Sporting.
