Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has, late on Saturday, provided an update on the future of head coach Frank Lampard.
The subject of ex-Chelsea standout Lampard’s position on the bench at Goodison Park, of course, has come back to the fore in a major way over the course of the last couple of hours.
This comes after Everton were condemned to yet another alarming defeat.
Owing to a double on the part of Jarrod Bowen, the Toffees were downed by two goals to nil at West Ham, marking an eighth loss in nine across all competitions.

Now sitting clear of bottom spot in the Premier League owing only to goal difference, it has therefore come as little surprise to see calls for the aforementioned Lampard to be sent on his way reach an all-time high on Saturday evening.
Speaking to the media on the back of the action coming to a close at the London Stadium, Blues owner Farhead Moshiri was therefore drawn on the chances of the club’s boss being imminently sent on his way.
“It’s not my decision,” the Everton chief began.
“It’s been a bad run of results for us all, and for Frank, but, no, I would never say that [he will be sacked] to you.”
