Relegation-threatened Everton travel to South London in the hunt for their first win in five games as they take on a rejuvenated Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Toffees sit above the relegation zone only courtesy of their superior goal difference, and are two points behind Leeds United who occupy 16th place.

After a promising start under Sean Dyche, they have hit something of a bump in the road, with disappointing results seeing them sucked straight back towards the drop zone with just seven games left of their season.

Three points against a Palace side that have won their last three in a row would go a long way to easing relegation concerns, but it won’t be straightforward.

Here’s all you need to know about how the Everton squad is shaping up ahead of the clash.

Predicted XI

Team News

Sean Dyche will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure as the midfielder serves the last game of his three match suspension after being sent off in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham earlier in the month.

“He’ll certainly be in the squad. He’s coming to the end of his rehab period which is brilliant”, Dyche revealed.

“My main concern has just been safeguarding his return, his proper return when he his 100% fit.”

Pressed on whether he would start, the Everton boss explained.

“These are all decisions we’ll make before the game. He’s proved statistically through his training where he’s out physically. It was my decision to take him off after 70 minutes last time.”

One man who won’t be available, however, is Seamus Coleman, who continues to struggle with a hamstring issue.

“Seamus Coleman won’t be right for this”, Dyche explained.

“We’ve hit this tricky spell with injuries and suspensions. You want the players fit and fully active.”
