Erling Haaland’s former roommate has revealed that the Manchester City ace is a big fan of Disney show Hannah Montana and that he used to regularly watch it during their time together.

The duo shared a room during international duty while playing for Norway’s under 15 side in 2015, when Haaland was plying his trade for local side Byrne.

And Magnus Lundal, who now plays for Grorud in the Norwegian third tier, was his roommate at the time.

“It was primarily a very fun and pleasant experience. Erling is a very nice and funny guy”, the 23-year-old told Norwegian outlet TV2.

Lundal even revealed Haaland’s guilty pleasure, explaining that the superstar used to spend his free time watching episodes of US children’s show Hannah Montana, in which Miley Cyrus stars.

He watched Hannah Montana without thinking it was embarrassing at all, and had a good laugh about it. Erling is a wonderful guy, and it was incredibly fun to live with him.

“I cannot say, it’s too embarrassing” he laughed when asked by the presenter.

With his exploits on the pitch, however, few will care what he does in his time off it.

With 35 goals in 32 Premier League games this season since joining Manchester City in the summer, the 22-year-old is firing Pep Guardiola’s side to their fifth Premier League title in six years.

He could also be set to help them to a historic treble in the weeks to come, with a Champions League semi final second leg against Real Madrid to come this week, and an FA Cup final against Manchester United next month.
