David de Gea’s time at Manchester United looks increasingly likely that it’s coming to an end.
The Spaniard’s current deal runs until the end of the month and he is yet to sign a new one.
An offer is on the table from United, however, it remains unsigned and here’s why…

The Athletic are reporting that David de Gea signed a new contract extension with Manchester United only for them to back out of the agreed proposal.
The club’s initial offer was significantly lower than his current £375k-per-week salary.
Their latest proposal is even lower and is yet to be signed by the shot-stopper.
But with three days until de Gea’s deal is up and no sign of a renewal happening, United may need to speed up this search for a replacement.
