Arsenal have suffered an injury blow ahead of their trip to the Etihad as they are set to be without Emile Smith Rowe.
The Gunners face Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round in a clash that could have a big psychological impact ahead of their double header in the Premier League.
Just five points separate the top two teams in the league and they now go head-to-head for the first time this season.
Smith Rowe’s injury setback
Emile Smith Rowe has been ruled out of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Manchester City.
The midfielder has suffered another injury setback although, as per the Evening Standard, it is not related to the groin injury which has seen him miss a large part of the season.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since the start of September and has played just over an hour of football in total this season.
He has suffered a thigh injury, however, his absence is only precautionary and shouldn’t be too serious.
Mikel Arteta could make some changes to his usual line up including handing Leandro Trossard his full debut.
