The Liverpool faithful have taken to social media in their droves on Monday evening, to make their frustrations with one key member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad clear.
The Reds, of course, are currently locked in action.
After being held to a disappointing share of the spoils by newly-promoted Fulham in the club’s season opener, Liverpool have welcomed Crystal Palace to Anfield, eyeing a swift return to winning ways.
As things stand, however, such efforts are on course to come up well short.
This comes with the evening’s hosts, early in the 2nd-half of action, trailing by a goal to nil.
Despite dominating the opening 45 minutes in terms of both possession and chances created, Klopp’s troops were unable to prevent Wilfried Zaha from putting the finishing touches on a fine counter attack, to put Palace in front just beyond the half-hour mark:

One player in particular has been widely targeted, owing to not only his individual role in the visitors finding the net, but latest display as a whole.
The Reds star in question? Fabinho.
Amid mounting claims that the ‘declining’ Brazilian is no longer of the standard required to hold together Klopp’s midfield, Fabinho has been targeted in ruthless fashion, with some of the highlights from across social media showcased below:
Im begging you sign a midfielder. Fabinho is FINISHED @KLOPP

How can any Liverpool fan watch Fabinho and think he’s elite man. He’s finished. Finito. Khalas.

I said it before. Fabinho is a fantastic Midfielder no doubt about it, but he is burning out. With even less options due to mounting injuries, he will keep burning out.
