Hansi Flick says his Barcelona team are daring to dream of winning the Treble this season after booking their place in the Copa del Rey final.

The Blaugrana picked up hard-fought 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, sealing their place in the final 5-4 on aggregate.

Ferran Torres’ first-half goal was the difference in Madrid, and manager Flick was full of praise for his team after the match.

He said: “We defended well and we did very well. Everyone can be proud of this team, we coaches are. Atletico are a great team, but we have improved a lot. It’s not easy, especially here. All the players are doing well and we have controlled it.”

“We are allowed to dream, but we have to be focused and focused on what we want. We will arrive at three or four tomorrow morning, then we have to sleep and return to training and recover. We face Betis next. The next few weeks won’t be easy, but we have a fantastic team. The club and the fans can be proud of the team.”

Barcelona will meet Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final later this month, setting up another El Clasico.

But Flick was not drawn on the blockbuster clash, and instead admitted he wanted to turn his attention back to the league.

He added: “I don’t want to talk about the final. I’m focused on Betis. But it’s fantastic to play in El Clasico, but you have to play a lot of games. There are many important things. Now it is not very important.”

With a busy schedule ahea in the final few months, Barcelona will need to maintain their momentum across all three competitions if they want to get over the line and claim a haul of silverware.
