One-time Arsenal star Emmanuel Frimpong has, on Thursday, provided an insight into the current wellbeing of Gunners standout Thomas Partey.
For those not aware, the subject of midfielder Partey’s fitness has taken its place front and centre on the red half of north London across the week to date.
This comes after the 29-year-old was forced to sit out Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying showdown with Angola on Monday.
Questions over Partey’s status to feature in Arsenal’s Premier League meeting with Leeds United on Saturday, as a result, had since spread like wildfire.

As alluded to above, though, late on Thursday, such fears have been eased, by way of an altogether surprising source.
Speaking to Casino Bonus CA, former Gunners talent Emmanuel Frimpong was draw on the subject of his fellow countryman’s fitness.
“I spoke to someone in the Ghana team & they told me he is not injured, it is just a precaution. I think he is going to be available for the Leeds game, there should be nothing to worry about for Arsenal fans.”
He continued:
“It happens all the time – when you come to Africa, you can see some of the pitches are not that great, so some of the big players like to proceed with caution. A player like Thomas Partey, with his injury record, probably wouldn’t have fancied it.”
