Best FPL captains gameweek 7

Erling Haaland vs Tottenham (12.0)

Tottenham have an excellent record when facing Manchester City in recent times, winning four of the last five league meetings between the two sides.

However, as was shown vs Crystal Palace, Erling Haaland looks to have given Manchester City the edge when facing teams they have previously struggled against.

Gabriel Jesus vs Everton (8.1)

Arsenal have been playing some very nice football this season. Even against Manchester United when they lost 3-1, they looked the better side for large periods.

One of the key reasons for this has been the on and off-the-ball movement of Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian’s desire to run at defenders this season has seen him create countless chances for himself and his teammates, and he is likely to be amongst the goals this weekend when Arsenal face an Everton side struggling for form.

Ivan Toney vs Southampton (7.2)

Ivan Toney hit three past Leeds United in gameweek six of the Premier League season.

The Bees striker has looked sharp all season and he finally got his reward vs the Peacocks. Brentford are now set to face Southampton in GW7.

The Saints have had an ok start to the campaign, but their defence is very much lacking. They are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League and have the joint-fourth worst defensive record in the division.
