Fulham Team News

  • Out: Tim Ream, Andreas Pereira, Layvin Kurzawa, Aleksandar Mitrović
  • Doubt: Willian

Fulham has been dealt a cruel blow to their outside chances of securing a spot in the European places come the end of the season after the Cottagers now contend with a number of critically sustained injuries on the backend of the 2022-23 Premier League season.

Boss Marco Silva has done a fantastic job pushing the capital club much higher up the table than most thought capable, with Fulham sitting in 10th coming into the midweek clash at Anfield against Liverpool, but the London outfit will have to make do without a number of pivotal figures in the team while they look to extract any points off Jürgen Klopp’s Reds.

Veteran center-back and club player of the season candidate Tim Ream has been ruled out of the rest of the season on account of a broken arm, and is a huge blow to the club’s cause while attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira joins him on the treatment table after being stretchered off. Layvin Kurzawa is also ruled out through injury, while key center-forward Aleksandar Mitrović continues to serve his eight-match suspension. Willian is listed as a doubt as he continues his recovery but is not expected to make his return here.
