Fulham’s return to the Premier League has gone better than expected this season under Marco Silva as the Cottagers could go into the new year in the top half of the table in the wake of the 2022 World Cup.
A clash with Manchester United is another test for Silva’s men after they have already passed inspection with results against Liverpool, Brentford, Brighton, Aston Villa, and Leeds United this season, and a showing at Craven Cottage could really put a pep in their step to assault 2023 with confidence in the wake of the extended international break.
Predicted Fulham XI
Players unavailable for selection & key fitness updates
Aleksandar Mitrovic, Manor Solomon, Neeskens Kebano, Kenny Tete (red card), Harrison Reed (red card)
Marco Silva will have to contend with visiting Manchester United without the services of leading scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic on Sunday, but the Serbian star will still be on the plane to Qatar as his fitness concerns do not extend to the World Cup.
Silva is also without Manor Solomon and Neeskens Kebano, while Kenny Tete and Harrison Reed miss out through suspension. Bobby De Cordova-Reid does return, however.
