The former FC Bayern coach will take charge of Die Mannschaft at Euro 2024.

The Germans will be hoping for a very strong campaign as the host nation next summer.

Naglesmann agrees deal to become next German manager

Nagelsmann will be the next German national team head coach, according to BILD.

Germany opted to sack former boss Hansi Flick following their heavy defeat to Japan.

Flick had a torrid time in charge of Germany as he saw the four-time world champions eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in the group stages.

But now, they have appointed another former FC Bayern coach in Julian Naglesmann.

Naglesmann was controversially sacked by Bayern towards the end of the last season.

The 36-year-old guided them into the Champions League knockout stages and had them just one point off the top of the Bundesliga.

Over the summer, several clubs looked at Nagelsmann but were seemingly unable to persuade him back into management.
