Germany and Denmark have named their starting line-ups for the second round of 16 match at Uefa Euro 2024 as the hosts continue their campaign against dangerous opponents.
Antonio Rudiger recovered from injury to start for Die Mannschaft, while Nico Schlotterbeck replaced the suspended Jonathan Tah.

David Raum also came in for Maximilian Mittelstadt at left-back, and winger Leroy Sane supplanted Florian Wirtz.

For Denmark, Morten Hjulmand – scorer of one of their two goals at the finals with a long-range strike against England – was suspended.

The state of play
Germany started the finals in style with a 5-1 win over Scotland on opening night and a 2-0 victory over Hungary to make many consider Julian Nagelsmann’s squad contenders for the title.
Their closing match of the group stage, against Switzerland, was far trickier, with only Niclas Fullkrug’s 92nd-minute equaliser ensuring they finished top of the table with a 1-1 draw.
Denmark came into the round of 16 on something of a scoring drought, having not found the net since Hjulmand’s thunderbolt against the Three Lions.

Having opened their campaign by being pegged back to draw 1-1 with Slovenia, the Euro 2020 semi-finalists drew 0-0 with Serbia in their third match.
The winners of the game will play Spain or Georgia in the quarter-finals in Stuttgart on July 5.
