Chelsea faced off with AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday, looking to make it two wins from two over the Italians.
And that is exactly what happened thanks to a penalty from Jorginho and a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
It was not all good news for Chelsea, though, as Reece James went off with an injury.
Speaking after the game, manager Graham Potter outlined the next few days as both Chelsea and England wait to discover the extent of the injury.
“Reece, we’re hoping he’ll be ok. [We’ll need] 24-48 hours because it’s too early to tell you anything more than that.”
James, meanwhile, took to Twitter to write: “Fingers crossed it’s not a bad one Love for all the messages, I appreciate you all”
“Overall, we played well. It was important to get the goal and the penalty and red card changes the completion of the game. We started to make the ten men count, which I think we did quite well. Overall, we’re delighted with the three points, the clean sheet, and to score two goals too.”
