Bayern Munich star Harry Kane, on Sunday, etched his name firmly into the history books of the Bundesliga heavyweights.
For those not aware, Bayern marked their return to action a short time ago.
Fresh off a head-turning 4-0 triumph on opening day, Thomas Tuchel’s troops welcomed Augsburg to Bavaria, eyeing a 2nd win on the spin.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what they managed, in dominant fashion once more.
The reigning Bundesliga champions raced out into a three-goal lead midway through the 2nd-half, after an early Ohis Uduokhai own goal was added to courtesy of a brace from the aforementioned Kane.
And though Augsburg did manage to pull one back late on, the damage had long been done, en route to an eventual 3-1 result.

The individual in question? Harry Kane.
After finding the net on his debut in the German top-flight last weekend, big-money summer arrival Kane, today, took his tally to three in two.
And, in the process, the English international made history, becoming just the third player to score three goals in his first two Bundesliga appearances in the colours of Bayern Munich.
3 – Harry Kane is only the third FC Bayern München player to score 3 goals in his first two Bundesliga games – previously only Gustav Jung did so in 1967 and Adolfo Valencia in 1993. #FCBFCA pic.twitter.com/tNNqI0CGAb
