Under-fire Manchester United star Harry Maguire is giving serious consideration to seeking out a summer exit from the club, according to reports.
This comes amid suggestions that the former Leicester City standout is growing increasingly concerned regarding his chances of selection for next summer’s European Championships.
Maguire has of course endured an altogether difficult campaign to date, condemned to backup duties behind first-choice pairing Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
Even when afforded the opportunity to impress, though, the 30-year-old has generally failed to do so, coming in for regular criticism from the Red Devils faithful.

In turn, it should perhaps come as little surprise to hear of Maguire setting his sights on a new adventure.
As per a report from the Daily Mail, the central defender’s preference would in fact be to stay put and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
As a result, he is ready to make the tough decision to move on, in search of consistent first-team football.
The England international is not expected to be short on suitors, either, after the likes of West Ham and Inter Milan expressed a keen interest in his services during the January transfer window.
Maguire will, though, likely be forced to take a cut on his hefty £190,000-per-week wage packet.
