A wonderful moment centering on Christian Eriksen and Brandon Williams was forthcoming during the clash between Norwich City and Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
The exchange in question came late in the first-half of action at Carrow Road, as Eriksen dragged Williams to the turf in unceremonious fashion.
The on-loan Manchester United defender, in turn, quickly made his frustrations known, pinning Eriksen to the ground before attempting to grab hold of the Dane.
Upon realising that it was Brentford’s latest midfield addition, who of course recovered from a cardiac arrest at last summer’s European Championships to make a remarkable return to the Premier League during the winter transfer window, underneath him, though, Williams’ entire demeanour swiftly changed.
The left-back, in turn, dropped to the turf to provide Eriksen with a warm embrace, before the pair departed the scene with broad smiles spread across their respective faces.

Toney at the treble
Williams’ part in a memorable moment inside the first-half of action aside, it has proven an altogether dismal afternoon’s work for Norwich versus Brentford at Carrow Road on Saturday.
This comes with the Canaries, currently fighting for their Premier League lives, en route to an alarming 3-0 defeat.
Brentford hitman Ivan Toney has proven the star of the show thus far, bagging all three of the visitors’ goals, including a pair of spot-kicks early in the 2nd-half.

Norwich, in turn, look set to remain glued to the foot of the English top-flight for at least another week, as the reality of an increasingly likely return to the Championship begins to settle in in East Anglia.
