Manchester United headed into the game as clear favourites to progress to the semi-final stage.
And at present, the Red Devils are on course to do just that.
Manchester United have dominated for the most part and are currently 1-0 up thanks to Antony.
Charlton have defended fairly well, but they could do little about the Brazilian’s curled effort from the edge of the box 21 minutes in.
But despite leading, Manchester United fans on social media are still not happy with one player.
The player in question is Scott McTominay, who had been a mainstay in United’s midfield for several years up until 2022/23.
And although he is up against a League One outfit, United fans are not happy with how McTominay is playing on Tuesday:
