The post-match comments of Manchester City star Jack Grealish have piqued widespread attentions on Thursday evening.
Wide-man Grealish, of course, has taken his place centre stage in the English media headlines over the course of the last couple of hours.
This comes after the former Aston Villa man’s decisive introduction during the aforementioned City’s meeting with Chelsea.
En route to a tense 1-0 win for the Premier League champions, Grealish was introduced off the bench on the hour mark, before quickly laying on fellow substitute Riyad Mahrez’s close-range winner courtesy of a side-footed delivery across the face of goal.

Upon replays of the goal being broadcast, though, alongside praise of City’s super sub pairing, criticism quickly fell on the shoulders of one of Chelsea’s stars.
Kepa was the man in question, whose lack of determination in blocking Grealish’s pass allowed Mahrez to slot home with ease.
Speaking in a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Jack Grealish explained that:
“I’ve just said to Riyad, I thought the keeper was going to get it.”

What’s your thoughts? Should Kepa have got to it? https://t.co/0FmA7FZLBD pic.twitter.com/rdqgOE7Kb3
