Todd Boehly has now been the owner of Chelsea for three transfer windows.
During that time the club have spent over £1b on players but it is fair to say the results are not matching up to the spending.
Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League last season and despite a new manager and more spending this summer, they have already lost to West Ham and Nottingham Forest in their opening four games of the PL campaign.
However, former Blue John Obi Mikel has backed Chelsea to come good:
“They’ll be fine,” he said. “I think the club is obviously going through a massive transition. So we need to give them time. They have fantastic young players, we need to make sure that they get time to work on the training ground and start to gel together as a team.
“I’m pretty sure they will come good. Poch is a really good manager but he also needs time. Once they work and gel together, they will start winning games, easily.”
