A pair of statistics, highlighting the brilliance of Manchester City star John Stones to this point in the Champions League final, have come to the fore late on Saturday night.
City, and Stones, are of course currently locked in action.
In the headline fixture of the European campaign, Pep Guardiola’s troops have made the trip to Istanbul, in the knowledge that a treble is on the line in a Champions League final showdown with Italian giants Inter Milan.
And, as things stand at the Ataturk Stadium, a first-ever title in the continent’s premiere competition is precisely what the Sky Blues are headed towards.
This comes with City in possession of a slender one-goal advantage, owing to Rodri’s fine finish midway through the 2nd-half.

Whilst it is the Spaniard who stands as the difference-maker when it comes to the scoreline on Saturday, however, it is another member of Guardiola’s squad who has been singled out for widespread adulation online.
England international Stones has enjoyed an imperious outing to date, looking supremely confident from his berth in the middle of the park.
And, as alluded to above, such excellence has since given rise to not one, but two remarkable statistics.
As revealed by Sofascore, Stones has completed all six of his dribbles against Inter, at least five more than any other player on the pitch.
This also marks the most dribbles that the former Everton star has ever completed in a single appearance in Man City colours.
