Mauricio Pochettino’s previous spell in England saw him taking charge of Chelsea’s London rivals, Tottenham.
The Argentine was able to secure Champions League football for Spurs on a regular basis and even reached the Champions League final in 2019 before losing out to Liverpool in perhaps the most boring final in the competition’s history.
His Chelsea stint has not got off to a great start, though. The west Londoners have picked up just one win from four Premier League games, already putting an end to any slim title hopes they had.
Losses to West Ham and Nottingham Forest have overshadowed what was a very easy win over Luton Town and questions are already being asked of Pochettino in his new role, especially after such massive spending in the transfer market.
But Chelsea legend John Terry has backed Pochettino to come good with his former club: “I love Poch. I’ve been around him and I promise you now he is a top, top manager and he will get us to the levels we need to be at.”
