Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur have, late on Sunday, finally been provided with some positive news on the transfer front.
The month, to date, has of course proven a hugely frustrating one on the Lilywhite half of north London.
This comes as efforts to reinforce the squad of increasingly frustrated head coach Antonio Conte continue to come up short.
Key target Leandro Trossard, for one, opted to take his talents to a direct rival, in the form of Arsenal, whilst Sporting CP’s unwavering stance has seen Spurs’ Pedro Porro chase fail to bear fruit, too.

As alluded to above, though, late on Sunday, the transfer team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, at long last, have been handed some hope.
This comes with another alleged target of boss Conte having made clear his intention to seek out a transfer before the month is out.
Versatile attacker Zaniolo has of course been tipped for a potential move to north London for several years now, with links, over the course of the last fortnight, having ramped back up in a major way.
Speaking on the back of his side’s Serie A victory over Spezia on Sunday evening, AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho, in turn, was drawn on the chances of Zaniolo finally sealing a departure this month.
And the Portuguese tactician went on to reveal that, in fact, Zaniolo has gone as far as to submit a transfer request.
As things stand, however, the proposals upon the table of the Giallorossi are simply ‘not enough’.
