Ernst Tanner, Julian Nagelmann’s close friend and former youth team coach, has been speaking about the German manager’s next step.
Last week, Bayern Munich shocked many football fans as they decided to sack Nagelsmann.
The Bavarians had been enjoying a strong season sat just one point off the top of the Bundesliga and with a perfect record in the Champions League.
But they acted quickly and decisively, swapping Nagelsmann for Thomas Tuchel.
The 35-year-old is on the lookout for his next job, which could come now or in the summer.

Tanner believes that Naglesmann’s next step will be to England.
Spurs are looking to replace Antonio Conte whilst Chelsea could sack Graham Potter and bring him in.
Real Madrid have also long been interested in him.
Tanner said: Real will definitely be an option again, but in terms of language and interests, I see England as the next and logical step.
“Whether that has to be Tottenham in all haste, I dare to doubt.”
