Liverpool have made a strong start to the January transfer window by agreeing a deal for Cody Gakpo.
The Netherlands forward has already been announced by the club and arrived at Melwood before the window has even opened.
The Reds have several key attacking injuries and have moved decisively to bring in the talented 23-year-old.
Gakpo has been brilliant this season for PSV Eindhoven with 30 goal contributions in 24 appearances.
He also shone for the Netherlands at the World Cup netting in all three of their group-stage matches.
Manchester United had also been linked with him, however, Liverpool acted the quickest to secure his services.

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Gakpo has chances to feature against Brentford but suggested it is unlikely.
The Reds host Leicester City on Friday but with the window not open, he is ineligible for that game.
Brentford away is the next fixture but at this stage, he is expected to make his first appearance for the Merseyside club in the game after against Wolves in the FA Cup.
Klopp revealed: “There might be a chance for Brentford but not really I think. Wolves is more likely.”
