Juventus have confirmed the signing of midfielder Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa for a fee reported to be in the region of €50million.
The Brazil international has penned a five-year deal with the Bianconeri after a hugely impressive spell at Villa.
The 26-year-old moved to Villa Park in 2019 after failing to make the breakthrough at Manchester City and spending a loan spell at Girona.
He quickly became a key component of the Villa midfield and won the player of the season award in 2022-23.

Luiz, who is on international duty with Brazil at the Copa America, departs having made over 150 appearances for the club.
He becomes new coach Thiago Motta’s first signing at Juventus as they look to close the sizeable gap to last season’s Serie A winners Inter.
Juve finished third in 2023-24, 23 points behind the Nerazzurri.
It has been reported both Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea could move in the opposite direction to join Villa and bolster a squad that now includes left-back Ian Maatsen following his switch from Chelsea.
