For much of the season, Manchester City had been written off in the race for the Premier League title.
However, since losing to Tottenham on the 5th of February, the Sky Blues have won 10 and drawn one of their last 11 Premier League games.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are without a win in four, which has seen Man City climb above the Gunners in the table.
Manchester City also have a major Champions League semi-final vs Real Madrid on the horizon as well as an FA Cup final with Manchester United in early June.
So, having a fully fit squad for these games would be a big boost for Pep Guardiola and co.
At present, Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake are injury concerns for City.
As a result, it is likely that De Bruyne will at least be back in the squad to face West Ham on Wednesday.
Nathan Ake, however, has been out with a hamstring issue since April 19 and he is not expected to return to action until the clash with Real Madrid on May 9.
