Paris Saint-Germain standout Kylian Mbappe has, on Sunday night, moved to clarify his future.
The name of superstar Mbappe has of course found its way back into the headlines in a major way over the course of the week to date.
This comes on the back of a series of bombshell reports coming to the fore in France.
After rejecting the opportunity to depart the Parc des Princes in favour of staying put over the summer, it has been widely claimed that Mbappe has since become disillusioned with life in Paris.
Citing broken promises regarding both his role and teammates, the 23-year-old was therefore said to have set his sights firmly on a move away, potentially as early as January.
The reliable @LaurensJulien has told BT Sport that Mbappe feels ‘betrayed’ at PSG as promises made to him have not been kept. He was promised they’d sign a centre back, Neymar would be moved on and he wouldn’t have to play as a lone striker. He has “had enough”. Wow.

Speaking to the media on Sunday night, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his future was put to Mbappe himself.
Mbappe, though, was quick to shut down any and all speculation surrounding his name, in insisting that:
“I have not asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January. I’m not furious with the club, it’s not true.”
