Leeds United Team News

  • Out: Tyler Adams, Luis Sinisterra, Stuart Dallas
  • Doubt: Liam Cooper

Another week, another heavy defeat for relegation-threatened Leeds United who are now only being saved by a superior goal difference over fellow Championship candidate Nottingham Forest.

The club’s move to sack Javi Gracia in the wake of the same action taken with American headmaster Jesse Marsch shows the nature of panic that has taken hold at Elland Road, and the arrival of none other than Sam Allardyce, the Premier League’s front-running management firefighter, sheds light on the situation at hand.

Despite his quips that no one is better than him in all of England, his ability to keep a club safe could come in handy, though a result at Manchester City is likely to be very difficult to come by. For the away day, Allardyce will be without Tyler Adams, Luis Sinisterra, and Stuart Dallas, with the Colombian winger out for the rest of the season. Doubts remain over the availability of Liam Cooper as well after he came off at halftime against Bournemouth. He is not expected to feature here.
