Leicester City have, according to reports, opened negotiations with a leading candidate to take up the managerial reins at the club.
The subject of the hotseat at the King Power Stadium, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the week to date.
This comes after the powers that be came to the long-awaited decision to part ways with Brendan Rodgers.
Amid a nightmare campaign to date, and with Leicester sitting 2nd from bottom in the Premier League table, Rodgers was sent on his way after four years in charge in England’s east Midlands.

Attentions, in turn, have since swiftly turned towards the list of candidates in contention to replace the Northern Irishman.
And, as alluded to above, on Friday, negotiations with one such tactician have been kicked into gear.
Marsch, of course, is a familiar name across the Premier League landscape, with the American having just recently been dismissed from his position on the bench at Leeds United.
The 49-year-old, though, could soon find himself back in the thick of the English top-flight’s relegation scrap, in the case of discussions with the board at the King Power Stadium ultimately bearing fruit.
