Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, on Thursday, secured for himself yet another noteworthy career milestone.
For those who may have missed it, Messi was back in action a short time ago, on the international stage.
In just their third fixture since being crowned world champions late last year, Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina made the trip to Beijing, for a friendly meeting with Australia.
The Albiceleste, ultimately, emerged comfortable victors, notching twice without reply to make it 11 goals scored and none conceded across their last three outings.
And it was that man Messi who kicked the scoring into gear at the Workers Stadium.
Picked out a little over 20 yards from the Australian goal, the Inter Miami star worked the ball onto his left foot, before bending a trademark finish inside the near post:
