An update on the future of Liverpool star Roberto Firmino has, late on Friday, been forthcoming online.
And it will no doubt come as a source of relief for those hopeful of seeing the long-time Reds attacker stay put on Merseyside for the years to come.
Hitman Firmino, of course, has enjoyed an altogether productive campaign to date.
After notching just five goals across the entirety of the 2021/2022 Premier League season, the Brazilian has since gone on to find the net on seven occasions this time round, to make it ten direct goal contributions in just 13 appearances.
Reports, in turn, have begun to spread that Firmino, previously tipped to move on next summer upon the expiration of his contract, could in fact stay put.

And now, as alluded to above, a fresh insight into the situation has been forthcoming online.
The terms of any such proposal would run through the summer of either 2024 or 2025, it is understood.
