Supporters of Premier League giants Liverpool have flooded to social media on Sunday evening, to poke fun at Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall.

This comes, for those who may have missed it, on the back of the most remarkable of Reds comebacks.

Jurgen Klopp guided his side back into action a short time ago, making the trip to St. James’ Park for a highly-anticipated showdown with Newcastle United.

Inside the opening half hour on Tyneside, though, the visitors’ fate appeared all but sealed.

This came upon an Anthony Gordon opener being swiftly followed by Virgil van Dijk being given his marching orders, for a last-man challenge.

Consistent wastefulness on the part of Newcastle, though, soon afforded Liverpool a route back into proceedings.

Then, just as the clash appeared set to peter out into a draw, the Uruguayan, incredibly, struck once more, rifling a pinpoint finish into the far corner to steal all three points for the Merseyside giants.

On the back of the full-time whistle bringing a close to proceedings at St. James’, it should, in turn, come as little surprise to hear of the Liverpool faithful taking full advantage of the opportunity to gloat online.

And, as alluded to above, amid such celebrations, one man on the Newcastle side of things has found himself on the receiving end of widespread abuse.

The individual in question? Jason Tindall.

After Newcastle’s no.2 was spotted ‘shushing’ Jurgen Klopp during the first-half on Sunday, Reds supporters have jumped to back their beloved boss, with just some of the highlights from across social media showcased below:
