An important backup member of the first-team squad at Premier League giants Liverpool has put pen to paper on fresh terms, it has been revealed.
The Reds star in question? Adrian.
Goalkeeper Adrian, of course, has been on the books at Anfield since back in 2019.
The Spaniard linked up with Jurgen Klopp’s squad from West Ham United, playing an important role in his debut campaign owing to the injury woes of first-choice Alisson.
Since, however, Adrian has played only a minor part on Merseyside, now considered third-choice on the back of the emergence of Caoimhin Kelleher.
In fact, this past season, he managed just a solitary appearance, in last summer’s Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
In turn, as alluded to above, Adrian has agreed to prolong his stint as a Liverpool player.
As revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the veteran shot-stopper ‘has already signed a new deal at Liverpool’, which will be made official in short order.
