Three members of the first-team setup at Premier League giants Liverpool have been omitted from the club’s latest pre-season squad.
This, of course, comes amid the Reds’ ongoing preparations efforts for the new campaign.
With the 2023/24 Premier League term now just a matter of weeks away from kicking into gear, Jurgen Klopp’s squad recently flew out to Germany, for a summer training camp.
Having seen out both of their fixtures on the continent, though, Liverpool will in turn imminently make the trip to Asia, for further training, and a meeting with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
A short time ago, the panel of players called upon by boss Klopp for the Singapore trip was therefore unveiled online.
Liverpool’s squad for Singapore: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Adrian, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Robertson, Matip, Clark, Scanlon, Doak, McConnell, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Koumas, Quansah, Mrozek, Frauendorf.

And, as alluded to above, missing from the squad list were a trio of noteworthy names.
Also absent, meanwhile, are both Thiago Alcantara, and Stefan Bajcetic.
This comes, according to the reliable Paul Joyce, with the midfield pair still on Merseyside, amid ongoing efforts to return to full fitness on the back of respective spells on the sidelines.
Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic also missing from 27-man squad. They are staying on Merseyside to continue rehab after injury. https://t.co/YzcECLajkU
