Liverpool head coach Trent Alexander-Arnold has, on Sunday night, provided an update on the wellbeing of star defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Right-back TAA, of course, has seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines once more this evening.
This comes owing to the England international’s display in Liverpool’s Premier League meeting with Arsenal.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops made the trip to the Emirates in the knowledge that nothing but a victory would suffice, amid dwindling hopes of keeping their title hopes alive in England’s top-flight.
When all was said and done in north London, though, the Reds, once more, saw their efforts come up short.
Goals on the part of Bukayo Saka (2) and Gabriel Martinelli guided hosts Arsenal to an eventual 3-2 triumph, leaving Liverpool in the depths of mid-table, with just 10 points to their name.

This comes owing to confirmation that two key members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad have picked up injuries which could see them forced into respective spells on the sidelines.
First up, as has since been widely reported, is Luis Diaz, who was spotted leaving the Emirates on Sunday on crutches, and with his knee in a brace.
Receiving less attention, though, is the latest fitness issue suffered by the aforementioned Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Hooked at the interval in the English capital, TAA was first thought to have picked up a minor ankle concern.
Jurgen Klopp’s post-match comments, though, point very much to the contrary.
When drawn on the wellbeing of his defensive star post-match, Liverpool’s boss confirmed that Alexander-Arnold was in considerable pain, with swelling around his ankle having begun to show ‘immediately’ in the dressing room:
Alexander-Arnold is also an injury concern as problems mount for Liverpool. ‘[He] twisted the ankle, not good. Trent never, in seven years, went off if he could have played on. He was in too much pain, it started swelling immediately, so we will have to see.’#LFC
