A major insight into the alleged summer transfer plans of the powers that be at Spanish heavyweights Barcelona has been provided late on Saturday evening.
And, it would appear as though the Blaugrana are ready to shake things up out wide.
As per a bombshell report on the part of Transfersdotcom, an agreement is now in place for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio to cross the Clasico divide upon the campaign’s conclusion.
Spanish international Asensio is set to be available as a free agent, upon the conclusion of his contract in the Spanish capital.
And Barca, it is claimed, have beaten out stiff competition to bring the talented attacker to Catalunya:
‘FootballTransfers has been told by sources close to the situation that the player’s mind is made up and he will be bound for Camp Nou when his contract expires.’

The player in question? Raphinha.
Amid something of a hit-and-miss debut season at the Camp Nou, Brazilian international Raphinha is said to have been identified as an avenue towards much-needed funds, with Premier League interest in his signature remaining high owing to a starring stint with Leeds United.
Marco Asensio will join Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer and the knock-on effect is that Raphinha will be sold by the Catalan side, reports @stevek9KS1TV in @Transfersdotcom https://t.co/A1Z1dluwQJ
