Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea both recently sent scouts to watch a highly-regarded Brazilian youngster in action, according to reports.
The player in question? Lorran.
For those not familiar with his name, Lorran is a 17-year-old midfielder, who is currently plying his trade with Flamengo, in his home country of Brazil.
The starlet generally lines out in an attack-minded role at the tip of the midfield, but is also capable of taking to the pitch in a more advanced 2nd striker role.
Lorran has taken to the pitch in the Brasileiro on four occasions thus far this season, notching one goal along the way.
And his form across such outings, evidently, has already begun to pique attentions in Europe.
As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano:
‘Understand Manchester United and Chelsea scouts recently tracked Lorran, Brazilian top talent born in 2006.’
It is added that Lorran’s current contract with Flamengo includes a €50 million release clause.
