Pep Guardiola has been speaking to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester City’s next outing.
The Sky Blues will take on Burnley at 3pm UK time on Saturday the 2nd of April. Ahead of the game, Guardiola held his latest pre-match press conference this afternoon.
When conducting his presser, the Spaniard would provide an injury update on Ruben Dias.
The Portuguese has missed Man City’s last three matches and, according to his manager, is expected to be out for another 10-14 days: “We have still nine games to play. We will go game by game. We know what we have to do.
“We have to win games. It will be difficult, but we try. Ruben [Dias] and Cole Palmer are out. The rest are fit. He is out. I don’t know. The doctor said for four to six weeks. We need 10 days or two weeks more. The plan depends on the players when I saw them for the training today and yesterday.”

Burnley vs Manchester City
Manchester City head into the Burnley game aware that they must win to ensure they are able to maintain top spot in the Premier League.
Now, Jurgen Klopp’s side sit just one point adrift of Pep Guardiola’s men after 29 gameweeks, meaning one more slip up could prove fatal to City’s title hopes.
However, it does seem very, very unlikely that the Sky Blues will drop any points this weekend.
Burnley have won just three league games in 2021/22, and also have a pretty dismal record against the Premier League’s top clubs.
Against City, for example, the Clarets have not picked up a win since March 14th, 2015. And in the 14 meetings between the two sides since, the Manchester powerhouse have rattled off a staggering 13 victories.
