Manchester City ended their 2022/23 season in style.
The Sky Blues won the Premier League for the 5th time in 6 years, fending off competition from a much-improved Arsenal side.
They then beat Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup to move one step closer to the treble.
Then, on Saturday, the Citizens beat Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League to become only the second side in Premier League history to clinch the main treble.
It was not all positive after the match, though, as City fear Kevin De Bruyne could miss the start next season after the midfielder ‘snapped his hamstring’ in their Champions League final win over Inter Milan.
De Bruyne had to be substituted in the first half as City beat Inter 1-0 in Istanbul and is set for tests to determine the extent of the damage he suffered.
“So I missed I would say a fair amount of games but it was all small ruptures. I snapped it all the way here so I wasn’t able to go on.”
Why Manchester City won’t have a Champions League badge on their kit next season
