Manchester United blow: Christain Eriksen not spotted in training and Anthony Martial to be assessed vs Tottenham

Manchester United have received two bad bit of team news this morning in regards to Christian Eriksen and Anthony Martial.

The duo are set to be assessed ahead of the clash on Wednesday and are doubtful to feature.

Eriksen has been missing due to illness whilst Martial has been struggling with a muscle injury.

Eriksen was not spotted in training on Monday raising concerns over his availability to face Tottenham, as per MEN Sport.

The Dane was a big miss for United on the weekend as they were held to a goalless draw with Newcastle.

He is now a doubt to face his former club during midweek and will be assessed ahead of the clash.

The striker’s season has been ravaged by injuries and he looks unlikely to feature against Spurs.

Erik ten Hag is due to do his press conference at 3.45pm today and is expected to give an update on the pair.
