Sancho arrived at Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund to much fanfare.
However, the winger has since struggled to come anywhere close to replicating the form he displayed in Germany.
Even after a few decent games earlier this campaign, Sancho is once again struggling and was left out of the England squad for the World Cup.
Sancho also did not travel with Manchester United to Spain during the break and instead underwent an individual training regime.
Sancho was then absent for all three matchday squads for Manchester United since Premier League football returned.
Now, ahead of the weekend’s FA Cup action, Ten Hag has provided an update on Sancho:
“I also have to show patience although I don’t have patience because we have a lack of opportunities in the frontline, players who are available and capable to contribute not only in the Premier League but on the highest standard in football.
“Jadon is one who, when he is fit, he will contribute and we will have an extra option and so we have more chance to win a lot of games.”
